Luxury living with brick

The Heritage Estate project is located in Beijing, China. The prestigious residential tower combines luxury living and high quality materials on one site and refers to the rich Chinese culture on the other. The European red facing bricks provide the tower with a stunning appearance and protect and enhance the performance of the building when it comes to heat preservation and insulation performance.

Ideally placed near points of interests, like the 61-hectare lake of Yuyuantan Park, the Diaoyutai State Guest house and the Fuchen Road, the residents benefit from the great location. The project covers a total site area of 16,000 sqm on ground level and 43,000 sqm in total. The surrounding greenery was preserved and enhanced, only 30% of the plot have been used for the tower 50% are used for parks and trees, the rest was used for infrastructre. Only high-end interior design was used for the decoration of the luxury apartments, a 24-hour service makes sure that the wishes of the residents can always be fulfilled promptly.

Rich history meets innovation

The whole concept is based on inheritance and innovation, says the architect Yunfei Fang. Traditional Chinese culture and history were combined with modern energy standards also keeping environment protection in mind. Therefore, brick as a natural and sustainable building material, was the first choice for the façade.

Brick enhances the buildings performance

The façade of the tower is constructed in a plain brick system particularly for the shear wall structure, matching a high-rise residence. The façade bricks were not only chosen because of their appealing look, they also act as a protection for the structure system. Additionally, they improve the heat preservation and insulation performance through incorporated internal air layers.
